“Ant-Man” is a 2015 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film was directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a former thief who becomes the superhero Ant-Man. The movie also stars Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, the inventor of the Ant-Man suit, and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Pym’s daughter.

The plot follows Scott Lang as he is recruited by Dr. Pym to become the next Ant-Man and stop his former protégé Darren Cross, who has developed a similar shrinking technology and plans to sell it to dangerous organizations. With the help of Hope and the Ant-Man suit, Scott must carry out a heist to steal Cross’s technology and save the world from its potential misuse.

“Ant-Man” was generally well-received by audiences and critics, and it grossed over $500 million worldwide. The film’s success led to a sequel, “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” which was released in 2018, and the character of Ant-Man has since appeared in several other Marvel Cinematic Universe films.
