“Captain America: Civil War” is a 2016 superhero movie based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America. The movie is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and stars Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

The plot of the movie revolves around the Sokovia Accords, an international agreement that would regulate and control the actions of superheroes. The Avengers become divided over the issue, with Captain America leading a group who oppose the accords, and Iron Man leading a group who support them. The conflict escalates into a full-scale battle between the two sides.

The movie also introduces several new characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), Spider-Man (Tom Holland), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).
