Fast Five is a 2011 American action film directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan. It is the fifth installment in the Fast and Furious film series and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris.

The plot of the film follows Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew as they plan a heist to steal $100 million from a corrupt businessman in Rio de Janeiro. However, they are pursued by federal agent Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and his team, who are determined to bring them to justice.

Fast Five received positive reviews from critics and was a commercial success, grossing over $626 million worldwide. It is known for its thrilling action sequences, including a memorable train heist and a high-speed car chase through the streets of Rio de Janeiro. The film also introduced Dwayne Johnson’s character, Luke Hobbs, to the franchise, who would become a recurring character in later films.
