Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a 2021 supernatural comedy movie directed by Jason Reitman and a direct sequel to the original Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters II (1989) films. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd in the lead roles.

The movie follows a single mother and her two children who move to a small town to inherit their late grandfather’s farmhouse. Unbeknownst to them, their grandfather was one of the original Ghostbusters and the town is being haunted by strange supernatural occurrences. The family, with the help of their friends, must uncover the truth behind these paranormal activities and save the town from destruction.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans of the original films. The movie pays tribute to the original Ghostbusters, while also introducing a new generation of characters.
