Three backpackers head to a Slovak city that promises to meet their hedonistic expectations, with no idea of the hell that awaits them.
“Hostel” is a horror film released in 2005. The movie was directed by Eli Roth and produced by Quentin Tarantino. The plot revolves around three young American backpackers who are traveling through Europe and end up staying at a hostel in Slovakia.
At first, everything seems perfect, but as they explore the town, they soon realize that something is not right. They are lured into a network of underground torture and murder, where wealthy people pay to torture and kill people for entertainment. The three friends are kidnapped and forced to fight for their survival against sadistic torturers who are determined to inflict as much pain and suffering as possible.
The movie was a commercial success and became a cult classic in the horror genre. It spawned two sequels, “Hostel: Part II” (2007) and “Hostel: Part III” (2011).
