“Lamp Life” is a short animated film that was released on January 31, 2020. It was produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Valerie LaPointe.

The film is a spin-off from the “Toy Story” franchise and tells the backstory of Bo Peep, a porcelain lamp who appears in the first two “Toy Story” films. The film explores Bo Peep’s life before she was reunited with Woody and the other toys in “Toy Story 4.”

In “Lamp Life,” Bo Peep shares her adventures and misadventures as she travels from one antique store to another. Along the way, she meets new friends and learns valuable life lessons that shape her into the strong and independent character we see in “Toy Story 4.”

The film has a runtime of just under eight minutes and features the voices of Annie Potts as Bo Peep and Jim Hanks as the voice of Woody.
