“Octopussy” is a 1983 spy film and the thirteenth entry in the James Bond series. The movie is directed by John Glen and stars Roger Moore as James Bond, Maud Adams as the title character Octopussy, and Louis Jourdan as the main villain, Kamal Khan. The plot follows James Bond as he investigates a possible nuclear threat while also trying to unravel a conspiracy involving a wealthy Afghan prince and a circus led by Octopussy.
The film received mixed reviews upon its release but was a commercial success, grossing over $187 million at the box office. The title song, performed by Rita Coolidge, was also a hit.
