“Scream 3” is a horror movie released in the year 2000. It is the third installment in the “Scream” movie franchise. The movie was directed by Wes Craven and written by Ehren Kruger.
The plot of “Scream 3” revolves around a new string of murders that begin to occur on the set of a movie based on the events of the first two “Scream” movies. Sidney Prescott, the main protagonist from the previous films, returns to face the killer once again. Along the way, she reunites with old friends and meets new characters who may or may not be trustworthy.
The movie features a star-studded cast including Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, and David Arquette as Dewey Riley. Other notable cast members include Patrick Dempsey, Scott Foley, and Jenny McCarthy.
Overall, “Scream 3” received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Some praised it for its clever meta-commentary on the horror genre, while others criticized it for being too formulaic and predictable. Despite this, the movie was a box office success, grossing over $161 million worldwide.
