“Skyfall” is a 2012 British spy film and the 23rd installment in the James Bond series. It was directed by Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig in his third performance as James Bond, alongside Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Judi Dench.
The movie follows Bond as he investigates an attack on MI6 headquarters, which leads him to uncover a plot by a former MI6 agent named Raoul Silva, who seeks revenge against M for betraying him years ago. Bond must stop Silva from carrying out his plans and save MI6 from being destroyed.
“Skyfall” received critical acclaim for its direction, performances, screenplay, cinematography, and action sequences. It grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film in the James Bond franchise and the ninth-highest-grossing film of all time at the time of its release.
