Spider-Man: Homecoming is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, released in 2017. The movie is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, along with Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, and Robert Downey Jr.

The story follows Peter Parker as he tries to balance his life as a high school student and his responsibilities as Spider-Man. He becomes involved in a battle against a new villain, the Vulture (played by Michael Keaton), who is using advanced technology salvaged from the Battle of New York (as seen in The Avengers) to commit crimes.

Throughout the movie, Peter learns about the consequences of being a hero and the importance of responsibility. The movie was well-received by audiences and critics alike for its humor, action sequences, and portrayal of the character. It is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and serves as a reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.
