“The Divide” is a 2011 science-fiction/horror movie directed by Xavier Gens. The film is set in New York City, where a group of strangers is forced to take refuge in the basement of an apartment building after a nuclear attack destroys the city.

As the survivors struggle to cope with their new reality and the deteriorating conditions of their environment, tensions rise, and the group becomes increasingly hostile towards one another. Their survival is further threatened by the arrival of a mysterious group of armed men who claim to be there to rescue them but may have more sinister intentions.

“The Divide” is a dark and intense film that explores the darkest corners of human nature in a post-apocalyptic setting. It features a talented cast, including Michael Biehn, Milo Ventimiglia, and Lauren German, who deliver gripping performances that add to the film’s sense of realism and urgency. However, the film’s violent and disturbing content may not be suitable for all audiences.
