“The Forever Purge” is a 2021 American dystopian action-thriller film directed by Everardo Gout and written and produced by James DeMonaco. The movie is the fifth installment in “The Purge” franchise, which explores a society where all crime is legal for one night each year.

The plot of “The Forever Purge” takes place after the events of the previous films, where the annual Purge has been abolished. However, a group of extremists decides to continue the Purge indefinitely, causing chaos and destruction across the United States.

The film’s performances are solid, with standout performances by Ana de la Reguera and Tenoch Huerta as the film’s leads. The action sequences are well choreographed and thrilling, and the film’s pacing keeps the audience engaged throughout.

However, the film’s political commentary and social commentary can come across as heavy-handed and preachy at times, which may turn off some viewers. Additionally, some of the film’s plot twists and character motivations may feel contrived or underdeveloped.

Overall, “The Forever Purge” is a solid addition to the “Purge” franchise, with strong performances and exciting action sequences. However, its heavy-handed political and social commentary and occasionally contrived plot twists may not be to everyone’s taste.
