It’s a post-Christmas play-date and the toys have to go up against the fearsome and aggressive new dino toys.
“Toy Story That Time Forgot” is a 2014 American animated television special directed by Steve Purcell and produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It is a spin-off of the popular “Toy Story” franchise and features many of the same characters.
The story follows Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their friends as they get trapped in a mysterious location called the Battlesaurs’ Playset. The Battlesaurs are a group of fierce dinosaur toys who don’t realize they are actually toys, and they quickly become a formidable threat to our beloved Toy Story characters.
As the toys try to find a way to escape the Battlesaurs’ Playset and return to Bonnie’s room, they must also confront the fact that they may be replaced by the newer, cooler toys that Bonnie receives for Christmas.
“Toy Story That Time Forgot” premiered on ABC on December 2, 2014, and was later released on home video. The special received positive reviews for its humor, animation, and emotional depth, and has since become a holiday classic for fans of the “Toy Story” franchise.
